Gridiron Dynasty League

League Rules
The Gridiron Dynasty League is a 10-team fantasy football league that is hosted through the Sleeper platform. The league is invite-only and new team owners must be voted in unanimously by other team owners who are in good standing.
Good standing is defined as active team owners who have no outstanding debts owed to the league.
The league entry fee is $25.00 per season and is considered past-due if not paid in full by September 30th of each football season.
The league may increase the annual entry fee and/or add additional fees for future seasons provided it is announced prior to August 15th of each year.
The entry fee may be increased at the discretion of the league commissioner, but additional fees must be agreed to by all active team owners.
The winner of the league receives a 100% payout of all entry fees.
For the 2025 season, the winner of the league will receive $250.00. The winnings will be paid no later than the first Friday following the end of the league playoffs.
The payout structure may be changed with league approval prior to the start of a new season.
The league is a point-per-reception (PPR) format.
Points are scored from the following ten (10) active roster spots each week:
Quarterback - QB (x1)
Running Back - RB (x2)
Wide Receiver - WR (x3)
Tight End - TE (x1)
Flex - RB/WR/TE (x1)
Kicker - K (x1)
Team Defense - DEF (x1)
The league offers teams a 2nd matchup each regular-season week. This option allows the top scoring teams of the week to gain an additional win, while the other half gets a loss.
To earn the additional win, your team must score above the league median.
The league median is calculated by taking the average of the middle two teams' scores for that specific week.

Each team will also be able to carry three (3) Taxi Squad players each season.
Players must be placed on taxi squad prior to the start of the season
Players can be removed anytime during the season, but there must be an available roster spot for them
Only applies to players with less than one (1) season of NFL service at the start of the season
You may only have 18 players on your roster (not including taxi squad). Other players must be:
Dropped
Placed on Injured Reserve (IR)
Placed on taxi squad (if prior to start of the season)
Additional Information:
Bench players cannot be dropped after a game has started
FAAB bidding provides each team owner with a budget during the season for free agents and uses a blind bidding process to select players off waivers each week. The highest bidder for each player is awarded the player.
The league uses FAAB bidding for all waiver transactions.
Season waiver budget: $150.00
Minimum Bid: $1.00
Bids are blind and highest bid at the end of the waiver period wins the player
Waivers clear on Wednesday at 12:00 AM PDT
Players are on waivers two (2) days after they are released
Trades are permitted in the league through the completion of the final game in week #11.
Trades can include the following:
Players
Future Draft Picks
FAAB Cash (waivers)
All trades have a review period of up to two (2) days.
The commissioner has power to veto any trade they deem creates an unfair competitive advantage and/or is detrimental to the overall success of the league.
The league will use the following playoff format:
Playoffs start in week 15
Six (6) teams will advance to the playoffs
Playoff rounds are one (1) week in duration
Playoff re-seeding will occur at the start of each round of the playoffs. The higher seeded team will always play lower-seeded teams in each round.
Non-playoff teams will be relegated to the Toilet Bowl.
This lower bracket will allow teams to play to avoid battling for last place in the league.
The losing team from each round gets flushed to the next round.
The player who finishes last and claims victory of the Toilet Bowl will be subject to the league punishment. This punishment will be voted on by team owners and may vary from year to year.
Failure to complete the league punishment may result in removal from the league.
Each year, the league will hold a supplemental draft for rookie and free agent players.
The supplemental draft will be held prior to the start of week 1 and the date and time of the draft will be determined by the commissioner.
The draft will consist of three (3) rounds and draft order will be determined as follows:
First Round - Reverse finishing order of the previous season's standings
Second Round - Finishing order in total points from other league contests (Survivor pool, college football bowl selection, March Madness, etc.)
Third Round - Reverse finishing order of the previous season's standings (same as round 1)
There are additional league contests that team owners will participate in each season and offseason.
These additional contests are designed to offer more engagement in the league, even during the normal fantasy off season.
Team owners will acquire points in each of the league contests based on their performance and how they finish. These points will be used to determine the second round draft order in the following year's supplemental draft for rookies and free agents.
Additional league contests include:
Sleeper NFL Survivor
College Football Bowl Pick'em
NFL Playoff Pick'em
March Madness
Additional contests may be added in the future and/or they may replace existing contests. The contests are at the discretion of the league commissioner.
In Dynasty Season 1, there are no additional fees associated with the contests and no additional money is paid out.
In future Dynasty Seasons, additional fees may apply with payouts to the winner(s). Additional fees and payout terms must be voted on with more than 50% of the team owners in agreement.
