GRIDIRON DYNASTY: WEEK 2 PREVIEW

One week in, and the league already has a pecking order. Ceedee's TD's, Enchanted to Beat You, and Baisdens Bungals are 2-0 and acting like it. 4th and Forever and Vigilante Blitz spent Week 1 in Europe celebrating ten years of marriage and came home to a combined 0-2 — priorities, apparently, in order.

Chase-in' W's got outscored by 50 points. And Burrows Churros? Picked himelf, lost anyway, and sits 1-1 with something to prove. Let's see who gets humbled this week.

Vigilante Blitz (138.64) vs. Ceedee's TD's (148.55)

Vigilante Blitz opens 0-2 with the league's lowest score still fresh on the scoreboard, and the reward is a date with Ceedee's TD's, currently strutting around 2-0 like it didn't spend all of last season as everyone's designated victim.

James Cook already ran wild Thursday night, so Ceedee's TD's has a head start before Vigilante Blitz has even finished unpacking from Italy. Rough spot.

Better Business Burrow (124.56) vs. Chase-in' W's (115.25)

Better Business Burrow never needs much of an excuse to talk trash, and facing a Chase-in' W's team that just got outscored by 50 points is basically a free layup.

DJ Moore's Thursday night stat line — one carry, negative one yard — is the only thing standing between Better Business Burrow and a clean win here, and even that probably won't matter.

3rd and Juan (134.63) vs. Baisdens Bungals (155.61)

3rd and Juan just cannot catch a break. Fresh off getting run over in Week 1, it now draws Baisdens Bungals — currently 2-0 and coming off a 50-point beatdown of its own.

If there's a universe where 3rd and Juan isn't the punching bag of the week, it isn't this one.

4th and Forever (153.85) vs. Enchanted to Beat You (141.57)

4th and Forever's honeymoon phase (ten years in, still counts) is over — it's 0-2, and now has to go through the defending champ, who dropped the single highest score in the league in Week 1 and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down.

Jared Goff actually gives 4th and Forever a puncher's chance here, throwing for 327 yards and 4 scores already, but "puncher's chance" against Enchanted to Beat You feels like famous last words.

Burrows Churros (135.01) vs. Joe Buck Yourself (149.26)

Burrows Churros is still nursing a bruised ego after picking himself over Ceedee's TD's last week and getting embarrassed for it.

Joe Buck Yourself, fresh off upsetting 4th and Forever in Week 1, gets to be the next test — and Josh Allen already did the damage, throwing and running for 5 total touchdowns Thursday night before Burrow even got off the bench.

If the commish goes 0-2 on himself to start the season, expect the group chat to have thoughts.
